Locle Joins SkyHook Wireless European Push

Locle joins a select group of European location-based mobile services to leverage the power of SkyHook Wireless Wi-Fi Positioning System for smartphones and the upcoming XPS hybrid positioning system. SkyHook’s Wireless is the technology behind the award winning iPhone Maps’ positioning system. Locle will integrate the SkyHook wireless system into both Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 versions of the Locle mobile client software, for phones that do not have GPS but do have Wi-Fi.
